Laila Chickpeas also known as Garbanzo Beans are a versatile addition to many dishes. From rich channa masala to silky smooth houmous and delicious falafel, they are significant in South Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.
Soak overnight, Rinse in cold water and then bring to the boil for 10 minutes. Reduce to a simmer for 85 minutes or until tender. Strain and serve. Do not eat raw.
