These dry wonton mee noodles draw inspiration from the Malaysian-style wonton mee, traditionally served dry with a coating of oyster sauce, topped with chopped spring onions, and complemented by slices of crispy Char Siu (Chinese BBQ pork) and fried wontons.
Preparing KI.TA’s Dry Wonton Noodles takes just 2 minutes. Begin by filling a pot with water, then add the dry wonton mee. Place the pot on the stove over high heat and let the egg noodles boil for 2 minutes. Once the time is up, use a colander to drain the noodles and set them aside. While the excess water drains, prepare your condiments on a plate. Cut open the soy sauce and vegetable oil packets with scissors, and pour the contents onto the plate. Add the drained wonton mee and mix everything well. And that’s it—your meal is ready!
